Disclosures

Last updated: 19 August 2026

We publish figures on this site because founders and partners deserve to know who they are dealing with. This page explains exactly what those figures mean — and what they do not.

What we are

Talan Ventures Ltd. is a private venture holding investing its own capital. It is not a fund. It does not manage third-party money, has no limited partners, and is not registered as an investment adviser or fund manager in any jurisdiction. Nothing on this site is an invitation to invest with us.

How to read our numbers

A portfolio company being valued at $1.3B does not mean Talan Ventures holds $1.3B. It means we hold a minority position in a company that was priced at that level in its most recent round. Paper marks are not cash, and unrealised gains can fall as well as rise.

Valuation sources

Valuations reflect the most recent priced round reported by the company or in credible public sources. Private company valuations are inherently uncertain, are set by negotiation among a small number of parties, and may not reflect what a stake could actually be sold for.

Past performance

Past performance of any investment shown here is not a guide to future results. Early-stage investing carries a high risk of total loss, and most positions in a venture portfolio are expected to underperform the few that do not.

Conflicts of interest

Our founder holds an executive operating role in the mobility industry. To avoid any conflict, Talan Ventures does not invest in ride-hailing or mobility marketplaces. Where a portfolio company transacts with another company we have backed — as in the Grand Games and Emenu transaction — we disclose it.

Forward-looking statements

Statements about intentions, plans or expected outcomes are forward-looking and subject to change. We are under no obligation to update them.
